Stunning or Mechanical Slaughter of Animals
All Stunned animals or mechanically slaughtered is totally Haraam and the meat of such animal is considered equal to the meat of swine for a Muslim to consume. If a Muslim is consuming such meat knowingly than he is only fooling himself. If one eats such meat because there is a halal certification and knowingly ignores these issues then he would be liable together with that institute on the day of Judgement.
Those who consume such meat with a halal label on it and truthfully are not aware of the stunning or mechanical slaughter issues then the people who issued the certification will be held accountable on the day of Judgement.
Why western world promotes stunning
The reason they claim is that it is less stressful on the animal and is humane. So do Muslims think that the practice Prophet Muhammad SAW showed us was not Humane? Or the practices the western world shows is Na-uzubillah better than the practices of Prophet Muhammad SAW, NO my brothers and sister Prophet Muhammad SAW was always right. If we even think that the practices showed to us by the western world is better than what Prophet Muhammad SAW showed us than we are no longer a believer.
That is why Halal for Allah says say NO to stunning and Mechanically slaughtered meat!
